A&M Texarkana Unveils New Brand and Logos

Texas A&M University Texarkana unveiled its new branding Monday morning following a year-long process that included input from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

Texas A&M University Texarkana unveiled its new branding Monday morning following a year-long process that included input from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

The changes include new university and athletic logos, updated fonts and word marks, and a revamped color scheme.

One of the biggest changes is the name itself. The university will now be known as A&M Texarkana, dropping the dash from Texas A&M-Texarkana.

President Ross Alexander says the new brand gives the university a strong identity of its own while maintaining its connection to the Texas A&M System.

The rebranding comes as the university continues to grow and transitions its athletics to NCAA Division Two.
