Disaster Declaration Issued for Bowie County After Weekend Flooding

Bowie County has issued a Disaster Declaration following heavy rain and flooding over the weekend. The declaration took effect Monday, April 7, 2025, and will remain in place for up to seven days.

Residents, business owners, and farmers are encouraged to report any flood-related damage to the Texas Division of Emergency Management. The information will help officials assess the disaster's impact and determine potential funding or assistance options.
