The Texas Department of Transportation is resurfacing a 1.8-mile stretch of Highway 82 between FM 989, also known as Kings Highway, and FM 2148. Work is taking place nightly from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. through this weekend. One lane will remain open, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. All lanes will reopen during the day. Drivers are urged to slow down, stay alert, and use caution around crews.
The project could be delayed if weather becomes a factor.
