Texarkana police arrested Jason Williams, owner of Café Lucille and Benchmark, on Friday afternoon on a warrant for indecent assault.

Texarkana police arrested Jason Williams, owner of Café Lucille and Benchmark, on Friday afternoon on a warrant for indecent assault.

According to police spokesperson Shawn Vaughn, the arrest is connected to an ongoing investigation. Police radio traffic indicated that a detective followed Williams before a patrol unit conducted a traffic stop and served the misdemeanor warrant. Authorities also seized Williams' cellphone as part of the investigation.

Indecent assault is classified as a Class A misdemeanor under Texas law.
