A Bowie County jury sentenced 38-year-old Brioni Dansby to life plus 45 years after convicting him of assault and deadly conduct. Dansby, a known gang member with 21 prior convictions, shot at a man and children and pistol-whipped another in May 2023. His sentences will run at the same time.
