The City of Texarkana, Texas has shifted all special event applications to a new online system called MyGOV TXK. City officials say the change will streamline the process and make it easier for residents and event planners to submit requests.
Starting now, all applications for festivals, parades, races, and other public events must be filed through the MyGOV TXK portal. Users can complete the entire process online, track their status, and receive updates.
The application fee is $25 and can be paid directly through the system.
