Texarkana police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect linked to multiple break-ins at oil change businesses on both sides of the state line.
Detective Lauren Freeman has been investigating three early morning burglaries — two in Texas and one in Arkansas. Surveillance video from a nearby apartment complex helped identify Jaquavion Williams as a suspect.
The footage shows two people carrying a safe to a car registered to Williams shortly after one of the break-ins. Williams was contacted by police and agreed to turn himself in, but failed to do so.
He is now wanted on two felony burglary charges.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Texarkana Police at 903-798-3116 or Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tips can remain anonymous, and rewards of up to $1,000 are available.
