A Texarkana woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday evening on Highway 71 between Texarkana and Ashdown.

A Texarkana woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday evening on Highway 71 between Texarkana and Ashdown.

According to Arkansas State Police, 28-year-old Kaprienceya Holloway was driving southbound when she struck a stopped Freightliner semi-truck in the outside lane.

A Kia Sorento, also heading south, swerved to avoid her vehicle but also collided with the semi.

The crash happened around 6:23 p.m. and was investigated by Trooper Joshua Broughton.
