In Texas, a major focus is the Republican primary for U.S. Senate, where incumbent John Cornyn faces challenges from Attorney General Ken Paxton and Congressman Wesley Hunt. On the Democratic side, U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett is running against state Representative James Talarico.

All 38 Texas congressional seats are also on the ballot, along with statewide races including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and several judicial positions.

In Arkansas, voters are deciding primary races for U.S. Senate, Governor, U.S. House, and State Supreme Court. Annual school elections are also being held.

Polls in Texas are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and in Arkansas from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Races without a majority winner will move to a runoff.
