Final plans are in place for this year’s Tough Kookie Breast Cancer Race in Texarkana.
The event, started five years ago by survivor Katina Levington, has already raised more than $700,000 to help local cancer patients. Levington says every dollar stays in the Texarkana area to support those affected by cancer.
The walk and run take place Saturday, October 18th, on the Texas A&M–Texarkana campus, starting at 8 a.m. Registration is still open for anyone who wants to join the cause.
